Frances Molesworth, born 1758 and died 1829, was the wife of John Jeffreys Pratt, second Earl Camden. She is often simply described as ‘heiress of William Molesworth of Wembury, Devon’. But it’s much engaging than that: her story – from orphan to Marchioness – has not been traced before.
